About Unfortunate Cookies
Founded by three friends in Chicago, Unfortunate Cookies are a delicious new twist on traditional fortune cookies. Each Unfortunate Cookie contains a uniquely miserable fortune that helps people embrace and find joy in life’s sometimes dreadful situations. They’re perfect for events, family/friend gatherings, funerals and celebrations.
We did our best to tap into the anxieties many of us regularly ruminate over, carefully crafting over 300 snarky fortunes that resonate with our often grim reality. We hope you enjoy reading and sharing them with each other as much as we enjoyed writing them.
Ingredients
Our fortune cookies are baked in Seattle with pastry flour, sugar, vanilla flavoring, eggs, water, and coconut oil. Are these the best-tasting fortune cookies you’ve ever had? Absolutely.
Our fortunes are made out of paper, ink, and cruelty. If you eat the paper your fortune may come true! (We are legally required to advise not eating the paper.)
